She came into our lives,
To change it all -for her and for us..
She wore nerdy specs and her skirt oh so high,
But a nice girl she was, though a little naive...
Then one fine sunny morning,
Lil miss funny wrote a quirky, cute poem.
Don't remember it's contents,
but it sure did act like glue to bind her with us...
Slowly and gracefully "our girl"changed into a swan,
She lost her specs and gained a new style quotient.
She became everyone's favourite girl overnight
As she was falling in love with this guy just as a kite would, the sky...
Oh how she loved him ,
She was head over heels and weak in her knees.
Every line for him was carefully rehearsed,
Like a nervous actor would before the big, grand night...
After a gazillion phone calls and analysis with friends and him,
she decided he wasn't the guy for her...
The episode ended,
only for another to begin...
Honest ,forthright , crassy and funny,
though a little jealous and baatuni...
She is the new social butterfly on the scene,
She dances and laughs and steals the lime light..

The poem stars Funny Jo herself...
We love her for loving us,
and we know that neither time nor tides will change Our 'V' girl...
Of changes and best friends and the fact that the first does not alter the latter,
